GW Structural is a consulting engineering business specialising in structural design, documentation, inspection, and remedial works throughout Australia. GW Structural also provide product development services and the project management of building products through the essential CodeMark™ certification process.

Established in early 2011, GW Structural has built a portfolio of residential, commercial and light industrial projects and formed significant consultancy relationships with several leading industry bodies, such as the Concrete Masonry Association of Australia (CMAA) and Think Brick Australia. GW Structural has also worked closely in collaboration with Quasar Management Services Pty Ltd on several projects.

GW Structural’s Principal, Grant Wood, holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) with almost ten years experience in engineering consultancy. Grant has a well developed knowledge of the domestic and commercial structural engineering process and aims to provide well engineered solutions for any design issue.

Grant is a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), National Professional Engineers Register (NPER), and a member of Concrete Institute of Australia.

GW Structural is committed to pro-bono work within the Engineering industry. Since 2007, GW Structural Principal Grant Wood, has partnered with volunteer aid organisation Partner Housing Australasia Building (PHAB) to provide engineering expertise and design for building projects in the Asia-Pacific. GW Structural is currently the project manager for the ongoing affordable housing project in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea.
